Thirty Minute Midday Writing Break
The Power of Pen and Paper
One of my favorite (and most helpful!) activities during my healing process has been writing down my thoughts with pen and paper. I simply write, write, write… no matter how nonsensical it may seem. I express whatever is on my mind, putting away all distractions. (Especially those tempting little handheld devices!)
Through this practice, I've started to make sense of my experiences. There is something incredibly cathartic about getting your thoughts out on paper.
Equipment Needed: Pencil or pen(s), paper, and an open mind!
